Dr. Summe and team are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We relate well to both children and adults and take the time to educate patients about their treatment. Our team is highly skilled, well trained and strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to every patient! Each member or our treatment team is a registered orthodontic assistant, and our office team has years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. We stay abreast of the very latest in techniques and technology by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Our team includes:

Diane – Financial Coordinator

Diane-work--1-of-1---2-.jpgHaving worked with Dr. Summe for over 28 years, I have enjoyed watching our patients grow and develop and achieve a beautiful, confident smile. I was a clinical assistant for several years before becoming the Financial Coordinator. I am always happy and willing to assist with any financial arrangements to help make orthodontic treatment affordable to everyone. My husband, David and I keep very busy with our two active teenagers, Maddie and Carson. When I find some free time, I enjoy playing tennis and volleyball.

Christy – Patient Coordinator

Chirsty-work--1-of-1---2-.jpgMy job as patient coordinator has me wearing many hats. I have worked with Dr. Summe for more than 18 years and it has been my job to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently as well as implementing all the new technologies in our office. It is always rewarding to be assisting our patients no matter where I may be working and creating beautiful smiles! Cheering on the Chicago Cubs is my favorite pastime — which was finally rewarded! My husband, Dave, and I enjoy our time together with our sons, Mathis and Colton.

Chelsea – Clinical Assistant

Outside of work, one of my true passions in life is photography. You may find me in a park snapping photos. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my two darling dogs, Kia and Rio.

Becca – Clinical Assistant

Becca-work--1-of-1---2-.jpgMy position as clinical assistant allows me to get to know my patients well. I enjoy the challenge of motivating patients to cooperate fully with their orthodontic treatment, including maintaining excellent oral hygiene. It’s very rewarding to see the beautiful smiles on my patients’ faces when they get their braces off. In my free time, I enjoy bowling and playing competitive softball. My family and my new puppy, Ellie, keep me busy as well.
